Club Notes: May 8th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 6, 9, 14, 21, 28 and Ciara Bradley, Niall McElholm and Aine Stewart each won £35. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo next Monday night in the Parish Centre.

On Sunday last our Reserves got the double fixture with Trillick off to a good start with a well deserved victory. Our Seniors could have won their game, also might have lost it so a draw was a good enough result. This Sunday we entertain Cookstown in a double League encounter with the Reserve game starting at 2:15pm and the Senior game at 3:45pm. Good support would be appreciated by both Reserves and Seniors.

The Senior Hurlers have a League Cup game with Shamrocks on Friday night at 7:30pm and will be anxious to get off to a good start.

Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Liam O’Donnell, Knockmoyle. His brother, Pat, was a strong playing member of our Club when it was reformed.

There will be a Club Meeting tomorrow night, Thursday 9th May, in the Clubrooms at 8:00pm.

There will also be an opportunity to try on and purchase Club Merchandise in the Clubrooms tomorrow night, Thursday 9th May, from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.

Pre Registration for the big 10K Run will be on Friday 17th May from 5:30pm to 8:30pm in the Clubrooms at Ballinamullan. T-Shirts and numbers will be allocated. There will also be registration on the morning of the race, Saturday 18th May, from 9:00am to 10:30am. Saturday 18th May will be a big day for experienced runners as well as for novices and those just wanting to be part of it.
