Club Notes: May 1st

 

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 6, 12, 17, 22, 29 and KT Robinson received £100. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo next Monday night in the Parish Centre.

Congratulations to our Lady Footballers on winning their first League points of the year. We hope that the men will follow suit on Sunday when we play Trillick in Ballinamullan in both Reserve and Senior Leagues. These are the first home League games of the year and both Reserves and Seniors would appreciate good support.

Our Senior Hurlers had a trial game last Saturday and this Friday night go into League action against Dungannon.

There is a great buzz at U14 level with our Girls winning the Tyrone Féile Shield and, along with the Boys, being invited to the All Ireland Féile. Not to be outdone, our U14 Hurlers also recorded a victory with a win over Omagh. They will take part in the Féile on Monday 6th May.

A big thank you to the U14 Coaches and Managers who organised a trip to Croke Park for the Boys last Sunday for the National League Final.

Our Minor Footballers have qualified for the knockout stages of the League and play Omagh tonight, Wednesday, in the Championship.

Well done to Recarson Primary School for coming runners up in the Cumann na mBunscol Tyrone Indoor Hurling Competition.

Youth and Adult Players and Members alike are encouraged to give their full support to the 10K and 5K Run and Walk on Saturday 18th May.

Ladies Football

Training as usual.

There is an U10 Blitz in Dunmoyle on Saturday morning at 10:30am.

The U12s are away to Castlederg tomorrow night, Thursday.

The U14s are away to Beragh on Tuesday at 7:00pm.

The Senior girls are away to Dromore on Monday night at 7:00pm in Dromore.

Youth Football

U8 and U10 Football training continues from 6.15 to 7.30 on Tuesday evenings. The next U8 Blitz is scheduled for this Saturday 11th May. The venue has yet to be announced but details will be given at training.

U12 Football training is on Tuesday nights from 6.30-7.30pm.

U14A team training tonight, Wednesday. The next league game is scheduled for this Friday evening 3rd May at home to Carrickmore.

U14 Dev team training is this Tuesday night from 7:00 to 8:00pm. The next league game is scheduled for this Friday evening away to Dromore.

U16 training is this Thursday evening 6:30pm to 7:30pm. 

Our Minors go head to head with Omagh in the Championship tonight, Wednesday. The match is at Ballinamullan at 6:45pm and a big turnout of supporters would be appreciated.

Youth Hurling

U8/10 Hurling coaching continues Tuesday evenings after the football from 7:30 to 8:15pm. All welcome to give it a lash…

An U8/10/12 Hurling Blitz has been arranged for this Saturday in Garvaghey. More details at training

Our U14 Hurlers have training on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00pm with the Féile due to be played on Monday. Again more details at training.
