Club Notes: April 10th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo for 1st April were 6, 7, 10, 13, 23 and Gary Wallace won £100.  Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo for 8th April were 3, 10, 20, 21, 26 and twenty winners each received £5. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo next Monday night in the Parish Centre.
Our Dancers and Novelty Act Group represented us proudly and well in the Ulster Scór Final on Saturday in Derry but did not make it through to the All Ireland Final. Never the less it was a great achievement to participate in two Provincial Finals. Well done to all involved.
The Minor Footballers lost their unbeaten run by the narrowest of margins, one point, and hopefully will have got back to winning ways in the game with Owen Roes earlier this week.
Our U14s play An Charraig Mhór in an outstanding League game tonight, Wednesday, and on Saturday both our teams face the new challenge of the Feile. Our U14 Hurlers have also got their League campaign underway.

There will be a meeting tomorrow night, Thursday, at 8:00pm in the Clubrooms.
A new range of Club Merchandise has been launched and can be viewed on the Club Websites. Order Forms are also available to download from the Club Website. Please note that merchandise must now be pre-ordered and paid for at the time of order. There will be an opportunity to try on sizes of this merchandise upstairs in the old building tomorrow night, Thursday, between 7:00 and 8:00pm.
Ladies Football

U8 and U10 girls training will start on Saturday 13th April at 10:00am. For any queries please contact Antoinette McCusker or Mairead McCann.
Training for U-14 Girls continues every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 to 8:15pm. The Girls U14 League commenced on Monday evening with a victory against Drumragh. Next up for the girls is an away trip to Gortin next Tuesday 16th April at 6:45pm. Girls are requested to meet at the Parish Centre at 5:45pm.
The Minor girls were defeated by Cookstown Fr Rock’s and were victorious against Clann na nGael last week. Next up for the girls is a Championship outing against Errigal Ciaran at home on Monday 15th April. The Minors and U-16 Girls training is changed to tonight , Wednesday, from 6:00 to 7:15pm.
Senior training is continuing as usual.
Youth Football
U8 and U10 training has been changed to 6:15 to 7:30pm on Tuesday evenings. We were to host the first Blitz of the year this Saturday 13th April, but due to the degradation of our pitches we are unable to. A new venue is being organised and will be circulated in due course.
U12 training to commence next week. Further details to follow.
U14A team training info from coaches due to a mixed schedule. The next league game is scheduled for tonight, Wednesday 10th, away to Carrickmore with a throw in 6:45pm.
U14 Dev team training info from coaches due to mixed schedule. The next league game is scheduled for tonight, Wednesday 10th, at home to Dromore again with a 6:45pm start.
Both U14 teams will be competing in the Tyrone Feile this Saturday.  Our U14A team features in Grade 1 in a group with Kildress, Errigal Ciaran, Carrickmore and Loughmacrory. The venue is Dunmoyle and all teams must be in attendance for 9:45am sharp. Our development team is in Grade 2 grouped with Tattyreagh, Glenelly, Dromore B, Eskra and Fintona. We were to host this grouping but due to our current pitch conditions we are unable to. A new venue will be announced in due course.
Minor training as per schedule. The next league game at home to Strabane on Wednesday 17th April with a 7:00pm throw in.
Child protection training has been arranged for Friday night 19th April commencing at 7:00pm sharp. All those involved with our youth who have not completed this course in the last 3 years must attend. Please forward your details to Barry Mc Caul ASAP for inclusion in this course.

Youth Hurling
U8/10 Hurling will begin tonight after the Football from 7.30 to 8.15pm. All welcome to give it a lash…
The U14 Hurlers played their first game on Monday evening against N. Colmcille with a depleted squad but played excellently and were defeted by a single point. They are having a short session on Sunday from 6:00 to 7:00pm in Ballinamullan and there are League games on Monday away to Beragh and on Thursday away to Shamrocks.
Senior Hurling
The Senior Hurlers have a game on Saturday evening with exact details not know at time of going to press. A full turn out of senior and minor players is requested as from this game a decision will be made if the team will compete in the Tyrone league.
