Our first event to mark the Year of the Gathering was an outstanding success, not just in terms of the finance generated but also in terms of enjoyment. Congratulations and thanks to the organising committee, to the hosts who made their homes available and provided food and hospitality, to the guests who made generous donations to the Club and to those who attended on the night. The Rockits made the night music wise and the outrageous and wonderful costumes created the atmosphere. The decorating team really transformed Dún Uladh. Well done to everyone involved. A great night was had by all.
On Sunday morning some brave and energetic souls faced into the biting headwind and made the Cycle, on its rearranged route, a good success. Well done to the organisers and those who acted as stewarts and a big thank you to those who provided the welcome refreshments.
Those still wanting to take out Membership for 2013 can come to the Clubrooms tomorrow night, Thursday 28th March, from 6:30 to 8:00pm. Completed forms can also be returned to Kenny or handed in to Stephen in the Fitness Suite.
