Club Notes: March 20th

Bingo as usual this Monday night, 25th March, following last week’s break. The Jackpot for the Lottsodoo stands at £5,000 and the draw will be made on Monday night.
Our Senior Footballers put on a very good performance against Newbridge last Saturday.
Our Minor Footballers maintained their run of impressive League performances with a victor over Omagh.
At U-14 level we had two good performances winning against Errigal Ciaran but losing to Owen Roe’s. Our next games are with An Charraig Mhór and Dromore this weekend.
A big thank you to everyone who represented the Club in the St Patrick’s Day Parade.
The Minor Ladies lost to Castlederg and take on Galbally this weekend.
Comhghairdeas to Naomi McAnulla and Teri McCusker on their part in Queen’s triumph in the O’Connor Cup in Waterford.
Our first big Social Night in the Year of the Gathering takes place this Saturday night, 23rd March. Hosts are putting on a meal for family members and friends in their homes and then everyone will gather in Dún Uladh for a night of socialising and dancing from 10:00pm. Dancing to our new look local band The Rockits.
Its around the Parish on two wheels on Sunday morning, 24th March, with our Hurlers leading the Parish Cycle. Assembly time is 10:00am at the Parish Centre, Killyclogher. Registration is £10. Everyone welcome.
Ladies Football
The Minor Girls performed well last Saturday against Castlederg but eventually suffered defeat. This Saturday they play Galbally at home.
Training for Minor and U-16 Girls continues every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 to 7:15pm.
Training for U-14 Girls continues every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 to 8:15pm.
Congratulations to Cappagh Ladies girls Naomi McAnulla and Teri McCusker, who were part of the Queen’s Ladies victory in the O’Connor Cup in Waterford last week.
Youth Football
Congratulations to all our teams who played at the weekend. Keep up the good work.
We are arranging an outdoor session as the finally to the Gaelic Start programme. Keep an eye on our website for further details.
The U8s and U10s have a fitness test this Sunday at Ballinamullan. Further details from coaches.
U14A team training is on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30pm. The next league game is scheduled for this Saturday 23rd March away to Carrickmore with a 1:00pm throw in.
U14 Dev team training is on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 8:15pm. The next league game is scheduled for this Saturday 23rd March at home to Dromore again with a 1:00pm start

There is a Foundation Course scheduled for this Saturday in Ballinamullan. More details to follow.
Youth Hurling
U14 Hurling training to be run before/after Football training and players will be let known exact time at football training this week.
Senior Hurling
Senior Hurling training continues on Friday evening in Ballinamullan from 7:00 to 8:15pm. All Senior and Minor players should attend.
The ‘Tour de Cappagh’ charity cycle is on this Sunday with sign-on from 9:30am. All cyclists welcome, in particular past players of the club. Anyone wishing to help out in any way at the cycle should come to the Parish Centre at 9:00am for a briefing.
