Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 9, 10, 15, 26, 28 and ten winners each received £10. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
On Monday night last things got back to near normality with the return of Mary Meenan. Welcome back Mary.
Tomorrow night, Thursday 22nd November, is the night for the big Youth Presentation Night in Dún Uladh at 7:00pm. It embraces Boys Football, Hurling, Girls Football, Handball and Scór. Family members are invited to attend along with the young people.
Tomorrow night week, Thursday 29th November, we hold our AGM starting at 7:00pm. An opportunity to review 2012 and to make plans for 2013.
Our Céilí Dancers will represent us in the Scór na nÓg final in St Joseph’s Hall on Sunday 25th November at 3:00pm. We wish them well. Very well done to all those who represented us in the earlier rounds of the various competitions.
Our sincere sympathy goes to the family circle of the late Eugene McCarney. They have always been active in the community and strong supporters of the GAA.
On Saturday last, Mountfield single men played Mountfield married men in a fundraiser for the new Community Centre. The match was highly entertaining with plenty of skill from those still playing or who have recently played competitively. Those who may not have played for some time showed that skill is permanent.  A big thank you to the organisers, players, supporters and everyone who helped in any way.
Thanks to the cooperation of An Charraig Mhór we had an agreed late start to our U-21 game. It turned out to be a highly competitive game. If the competitive level was high so to was the level of sportsmanship and that is to the credit of both sets of players. The end result was a draw. An Charraig Mhór play Greencastle this weekend and we play them the following weekend.
