Club Notes: November 7th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 4, 8, 10, 18, 27 and Christina Hosey won £100. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
To avoid a clash with the County Final of Scór na nÓg which is scheduled for St Joseph’s Hall on Sunday 25 November at 3:00pm, it was decided that we would change the date of our AGM to Thursday 29 November. The Meeting will begin at 7:00pm sharp. This will give our regular Scór goers the chance to attend the County Final.
Well done to all who represented us so well last weekend in Scór na nÓg and good luck to our Céilí Dancers, Music Group and Ballad Group in Sunday’s Semi Final in Dún Uladh at 5:00pm. Stewarts should be in position for 4:00pm.
The Hurlers have an important Meeting on Friday night 9th, for players, coaches and everyone interested in hurling.
DVDs of the Big Fight Night are on sale. Proceeds to Parish Funds. Contact John Wallace.
There will be a Variety Concert on Friday night, in Knockmoyle Hall for Parish Funds.
Next Fundraiser for the Club will be Last Man Standing and anyone who can help to promote it is asked to contact Sean O’Kane.
The Youth Presentation and Celebration Night is planned for Thursday, 22 November. All Youth Coaches – Boys Football, Hurling, Girls Football, Handball as well as Scór organisers – should contact Barry McCaul to ensure that all age groups are participating.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the last Sean O’Kane. “Lep’s” main love was greyhounds but he was also a talented youth player and continued to be a good supporter of our Club’s Fundraising.
Hurling
The Hurling AGM is fixed for this Friday in the Clubrooms at Ballinamullan at 7:30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend, in particular anyone wishing to help out in 2013, get a coaching award or assist in any way with the development over the next couple of years.
Past players, current members and in particular this year’s minor team members are requested to attend.
Nominations and motions are still being accepted and can be sent to Pauric Quinn or O.R.O’Neill.
