Hard luck to our U-13 Football Team who lost out in today’s County Final against Dromore on a scoreline of 3-13 to 0-05.
Dromore started the game very strongly and our boy’s went in at half time facing a very uphill battle. Indeed, they could have been further behind had it not been for some exceptional goalkeeping from Rian McCaul who made several point blank saves and a spectacular penalty save.
Cappagh came out strong in the second half and played more like themselves with several long range points from PT Cunningham.
All in all however, the boys can be proud of their exploits this year and deserve great credit. Well done also to coaches Fearghal McDonald, Eamon McGrath, Tony Barton and Barry McCaul.
Watch out for this up and coming talent in the years to come.
