The 2012 World Handball Championships (both One-Wall and 40×20 Four-Wall events) will be staged in The Citywest International Events Arena, Dublin, with an amazing purpose built 22 court structure erected to allow for the best possible viewing, atmosphere and sense of occasion – from 11th to 21st October 2012.
For our part, Cappagh Handball will be sending five of our brightest young talents:

U-13 Tiernan McAleer
U-13 Conor Teague
U-13 Rian McCaul
U-11 Brian McAleer
Tiernan McAleer and Conor Teague will also be competing in the Doubles Competition.
The future of Handball in the Parish is also secure with Ronan Teague, Sean Teague and Orrin McAleer already in training for future World Championships.
The squad are well marshalled under the reliable management of local Handball stalwarts Barney McAleer, Ciaran Teague and our very own Irish Team Co-Manager Paula Clarke.
