Club Notes: September 5th

Winning numbers in the Lotsodoo were 14, 15, 17, 26, 27 and ten winners each received £10. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
Our Seniors put on a spirited and fighting performance last Friday evening and qualified for the County Championship Semi Final. In spite of the loss of so many through injury, emigration and the demands of work our Senior and Reserve players have kept going and Friday night’s victory was a well earned reward. We play Derrylaughan away this Saturday in Reserve (12:30pm) and Senior (2:00pm) League games.
Our Senior Ladies bowed out of the Championship on Thursday evening but put on a very good show. The Juveniles, following the success of our Minor girls, had a good victory on Saturday to progress on to a meeting with Omagh.
Well done and comhghairdeas to John McGurk on his success with Tyrone U-14 Hurlers in the All Ireland “C” Competition on Saturday last.
A big thank you to all who prepared our Grounds for the visit of the Ulster Bank Roadshow and also to Dún Uladh for the use of their facilities.
