Club Notes: July 25th

Last week’s Bingo was cancelled as a mark of respect to Fr Murray. Fr Murray had no interest in games but he was appreciative of the work our Club was doing in the Parish and was very supportive of our fundraising efforts and social functions. Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo for 16th July were 4, 6, 10, 15, 25 and eleven winners each received £10. Winning numbers for 23 July were 4, 8, 22, 25, 26 and ten winners each received £10. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
We host two Junior Championship games tomorrow night (Friday) and a big turnout of workers would be appreciated.
We are back to League action at the weekend with the Seniors and Reserves taking on Eglish.
Dermot Carlin and the Tyrone Senior Footballers fell to Kerry last Saturday but no doubt will be back stronger than ever for the National League.
Mark Bradley, Sean Fox and Donal Magee (liaison officer) had a very successful day in Clones with the Tyrone Minor Footballers. Well done and all the best in the Quarter Final.
We wish Leo Green every success with his exciting new project replica models of Páirc an Chrócaigh. Contact Leo at leo.green@supremestadium.com. Watch out for details of a Supreme Stadium Open Night to be held in our Clubrooms. The models can be viewed on www.supremestadium.com.
We offer sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Dessie Campbell and also to the Fintona Club. He was a larger than life character and a great GAA enthusiast as a player, club officer and super fundraiser.
Our sympathy goes to the family circle of the late Gene Turbett and also to the Omagh Club. Gene was a member of the legendary Melody Aces and a great musician. He generously performed at many fundraising entertainment events for our Parish and our Club. He was, above everything else, a courteous, considerate person and a real gentleman.
