Joseph Mc Gurk represents his school Recarson and his club Ceapach at the Ulster Hurling Final this weekend playing in the half time game. He is the first hurler from our club to achieve this honour. He was selected after competing in the Tir Eoghain Cumann na mBunscoil skills competition. Joseph plays in midfield for the club’s U12 team and also plays at corner forward for the U14 hurlers. He competed in the Tyrone indoor hurling final with his school team. He also represents the club at U12 football and U12 handball. Congratulations from all his coaches and team mates – maybe one of a few young Vinny Owens.
