Club Notes: July 4th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 8, 9, 13, 24, 28 and eleven winners each received £10. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
Congratulations to Mark Bradley on being selected as Man of the Match in the Ulster Minor Semi Final and good luck to him, Sean Fox and Tyrone in the Ulster Final. Dermot Carlin had a good game and scored a point in the Ulster Senior Semi Final. We wish Dermot and Tyrone a successful trip to Roscommon next weekend.
We have Dromore as visitors on Sunday for Reserve and Senior league games at 2:15pm and 3:45pm. A big turnout of supporters would be appreciated.
We are looking for some workers to help tidy up the grounds and buildings on Saturday.
A few extra workers would be a big help in the running of the Bingo and Lotto on Monday nights from 8:45pm to 10:15pm.
Saturday is Scrap Saturday and we will have a skip in Ballinamullan to collect your unwanted scrap metal and old batteries. We can also arrange to collect. Just let Sean O’Kane (077 3749 5404) or Aiden Meenan (077 2152 0699) know. Clothes can also be collected or brought to Ballinamullan on Saturday.
A big thank you to all those who helped with the smooth running of the very well attended Summer Camp.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Colm Dillon. Colm and his wife Mairead supported our fundraising down the years and their family participated in our games. The McKennas of Clogher have a long tradition of support for the GAA both at Club and County level and we sympathise with them on the death of Annie and also with Annie’s family. Brian Furey has been very active in our club coaching and looking after youth teams since coming to our Parish. Sincere sympathy to Brian on the death of his father and to the entire family circle. Peggy Bradley was a loyal supporter of our Club. Not only as a regular contributor to the weekly Lotto but also as an energetic collector. We will miss her on Monday nights and our sympathy goes out to her entire family circle.
There will be a Club Meeting tomorrow night, Thursday, in Ballinamullan at 8:30pm.
