We hosted a County U12 Blitz on Friday evening in Ballinamullan with 5 clubs in attendance (Cappagh, Omagh, Dromore, Carrickmore and Strabane) with all teams playing each other once. The next morning our U8 and 10 hurlers visited Strabane for an early morning blitz and all players excelled. Well done to all the players and a big thank you to all who helped out on Friday and Saturday, refereeing, setting up pitches, looking after gear and providing transport to the games.
Our U14 hurlers went out of the Championship the week before against Naomh Colmcille. The boys put up a great performance but ran out of steam in the last quarter.
Our senior team played Dungannon on Satuday and Strabane Shamrocks the previous Sunday. The team found things tough going but with the exams over more of the minors and college students should be back to bolster the team.
