Club Notes: April 11th

Draws for the Lottsodoo, 9th and 16th April, will be held on Monday 16th April at the Bingo in the Parish Centre.
Dealing with a challenge is a good test of character, our Senior Ladies faced the challenge of falling numbers and went on to win their opening League game. In men’s football our Senior and Reserve teams are depleted through injury and emigration hopefully they, too, will deal with the challenge of playing opening games in the 2012 Leagues. Minor ladies and Minor boys are performing well and the Juvenile boys are putting in a good effort and will be rewarded with better results. The Under 14s are preparing enthusiastically and the younger boys and girls are as keen as ever.
It is great to be participating at Minor, Juvenile and Under 14 level in both football and hurling. Championship football – Minor v Ardboe; Juvenile v Galbally; Under 14 v Dromore. Hurling – Minor v Beragh; Juvenile v N Colmcille or Shamrocks; Under 14 v N Colmcille.

Ladies
The Senior League got underway on Friday past with the girls opening their division one campaign with a good win over St Enda’s. Their next game is against St Macartan’s. Training for Seniors will continue as usual.
The minors have continued their unbeaten league run, which means they are now in the league final. Well done to all involved there.
