The minor girls made it through to the league final following a hard fought victory away to Glenelly on Wednesday Night. The final score was 2.4 to 3.13 but make no mistake the girls had to battle hard for this victory. Playing into a strong wind in the first half, tenacious defending superb blocking and 3 well taken goals saw them go in at half time leading by 4 points. With the wind on their backs the girls were able to build on their first half performance to secure a place in the League Final.
Next up for the girls is their remaining league match at home to Fr Rocks on 23 April.
