Club Notes: March 7th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 11, 14, 17, 21, 24 and Carmel McAleer won £100.The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
Last week’s Scrap Saturday was a great success thanks to those who gave their unwanted metal and those who looked after collection.
We will be back in action on the first Saturday in April and will be pleased to receive your unwanted metal, clothes and mobile phones.
There was plenty of action at the weekend in Ballinamullan with one hurling game, two football games and two ladies football games. Our Senior Ladies have got the year off to a great start and our Senior Hurlers have also been impressive. The Senior Footballers had two friendly games and we thank Stephen McNamee and Brian McGinn for refereeing. The pitches were in excellent condition.
Our sincere sympathy goes to the family circle of the late Brendan Sheehan. Our Under 14 players formed a respectful guard of honour.
There will be a Club meeting tonight, Thursday, 8th March.
Club registration forms should be completed and returned to Kenny as soon as possible.
Cappagh Youth
Minors, Monday and Thursday, Juveniles, Mondays and Thursdays, and the Under 14s, Mondays and Wednesdays, are all actively preparing for the 2012 competitions.
Our U16’s began the year with a defeat to Omagh on Saturday afternoon. A high intensity game with some spirited individual performances bodes well for the future. Training continues on Tuesday and Thursday nights. They play Galbally this Saturday at 4.00pm in Ballinamullan.
Our U14 footballers are under way with training on Monday nights from 7.00 to 8.30pm and Wednesday nights 6.30 to 8.00pm.

All children must be registered. Avoid the queues by downloading and filling out your youth registration form from our website.
On Saturday the 17th March we will be participating in the St Patrick’s Day parade. All age groups within the club at every level will be represented. We can only allocate 10 places per age group. These places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Please forward your name and a contact number to either, Barry McCaul, Sean Kelly or Brian Furey for further details
