CLUB NOTES: August 24th

A big thank you to all who helped to make our Golf Classic such a success – Omagh Golf Club; our generous sponsors and the participating teams. Our organisers did a very good job and in this respect a special word of thanks must go to Emma Wallace and Sean O’Kane for the work they put in.
On Saturday we hosted two championship games. A number of workers made sure that the whole grounds were at their best. We also had a big turn out of workers on Saturday to help with the smooth running of the games. Well done to all who helped. Friday and Saturday and the weeks leading up to them showed what we can do as a club.
We are in championship action on Friday night, when we face the might of champions Coalisland Fianna. It is a daunting task but we know that we can count on our players putting in a wholehearted performance. So please come to Healy Park and give them some encouragement. Our game is timed for 8.30pm with Dromore v Moy at 7.00pm.
