CLUB NOTES: June 30th

We had Senior and Reserve games with Dromore last night, Wednesday, and will play An Charraig Mhór next Wednesday.
Our ladies lost narrowly to Omagh in the Intermediate Championship final in an evenly contested and highly enjoyable game. Both sets of players had prepared well and this was evident from the high quality of football produced.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Rose McGuckin, Ballinderry, and especially to her sister Mary Quinn St. Mary’s Road. Mary contributed greatly to the growth and development of our club and we sympathise with her at this time of bereavement.
CAPPAGH
A big thank you to all who organised the very successful Donnelly Cup last Friday and a special word of thanks to the teachers who prepared the teams and to the players who provided a feast of good football. We had willing workers both on the field and in the kitchen to keep the programme running smoothly.
The Juveniles got off to a winning start in the football league beating Loughmacrory by 7 points.
Tomorrow night, Friday, they will play An Charraig Mhór. The Minor footballers are keeping in shape through friendly games and some are also training with the Seniors and Reserves.
Our U12 hurlers have a blitz tonight (Thursday) in Beragh with a 6.45pm start. Could all players assemble at the pitch in Ballinamullin for 6.15pm. Our U14 hurlers have an U14 blitz on Saturday in Beragh with a 12 mid-day start. Can all players again assemble at Ballinamullin for 11.30am and bring a lunch.
