The Reserves did just about enough to hang onto a 1 point win over Derrylaughlin on Sunday. The Seniors showed plenty of spirit and determination but could not get the better of Derrylaughlin and lost out on a scoreline of 1-09 to 2-10. On Friday evening, we make the short trip to Healy Park to play Omagh St.Enda’s. The Reserve game is timed for 6.45pm with the Seniors going into action at 8.00pm.
CAPPAGH
The Minors defeated Strabane in a keenly contested game last Wednesday to earn a place in the quarter finals. The Under 14 ‘A’ team qualified for the quarter finals and played Galbally on Tuesday evening. The ‘B’ team continued their great league run with a well earned victory over Brackaville in the quarter final. They lost to Killeeshil in the championship. The Under 16s, 12s, 10s and 8s are all busy. Best wishes go to Paul McFadden who suffered a broken leg in last Wednesday’s minor league game.
It’s also all happening on the hurling point. The Under 14s created a big impact at this year’s Feile and the Under 16s are also playing well. With the minor competitions still to come now is the time to take stock and plan for action. There will be a Hurling Workshop this week night, Thursday 26th. Details later.
