Next draw for the Lottsodoo will take place on Monday night at the Bingo in the Parish Centre. There will be an extra draw for paid up members as there was no draw on Easter Monday night.
In the Reserve game with Ardboe last Saturday it was very much a case of what might have been as a strong final quarter almost made up for a patchy peformance earlier on. In the end Ardboe held on to win by 2 points, 0-8 to 0-10. Our Seniors fell away badly mid way through the first half and conceeded another goal just after half time to leave a mountain to climb. A determined effort cut back the deficit but the lead was too big and Ardboe finished deserving winners, 1-11 to 3-10. This weekend we go to Eglish and we will be looking for a consistent effort throughout the whole game. Our meetings with Eglish have always been hard fought. As usual we will be looking to the Reserves to get Sunday off to a good start.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Paddy McLaughlin who died suddenly last week.

Our Under 14 footballers had league action last week with the A Team bouncing back from the defeat in the Feile to Cookstown to score an impressive win over Omagh. The B Team turned yet another good fighting performance but lost to Clann na nGael. On Tuesday past the A Team played Eglish and the B Team had a return game with Drumquin.
Our Minor footballers, suffering badly from a list of injuries, received the boost they needed last Wednesday night, when a great team performance earned them a crucial 1 point victory over Errigal Ciaran. It was definetly a good all round effort with a few individuals turning in star performances. The quality of play and the effort made must have raised the spirits for the upcoming games. Our Under 10s had an enjoyable blitz last Saturday and coaching continues at the usual times for the Under 8s and the Under 10s. More players will be welcome to join.
