Comhghairdeas to our Ballad Group on winning the All Ireland Scor title in Killarney. The “Rocky Road” certainly led to a very successful conclusion! Well done to our Céilí Dancers who also put on a great performance. All of our Scor representatives were of a very high standard and they all brought honour to the club. A special word of thanks to our Culture Committee on the excellent work they do.
Last Sunday’s fund raising cycle was very successful thanks to the large number of cyclists who took part.
The Division 1 Leagues get underway on Sunday and we have Senior and Reserve games in Greencastle.
Cappagh
The Minor footballers started off very impressively in last Friday night’s game with Omagh but fell away badly and slumped to a big defeat. They were back in league action again on Tuesday.
Mark McAleer suffered a knee injury in Friday night’s game and we wish him a speedy and complete recovery. Unfortunately our injury list is getting longer.
The Under 14 A team bounced back from a heavy defeat in the championship the previous week to put on a battling performance in last Saturday’s defeat in the league to Dromore. The B team chalked up another win with a clear cut victory over Trillick.
