Well done to Martin Swift and Tyrone on a big win in the National League and also to Tiernan McCann and the Tyrone Under 21 team on the victory over Down. Stevie Kelly and Mark Bradley helped Tyrone Minors to earn a draw last Saturday.
It’s a big time for All Irelands. Last weekend two schools from the parish, St Eugene’s Tyrcur and Recarson, competed in the Credit Union All Ireland Quiz Final in Dublin. This weekend Scoil na nCrann travel Mullingar as Ulster champions to take part in the All Ireland Drama Final and our Céilí Dancers and Ballad Group go to Killarney as Ulster champions for the All Ireland Scor Final. We wish them all the best. Adh mór. A big thankyou to all who helped make last Saturday night’s Scor Supper Night such a super success. One of our main Scor promoters, Paula Clarke, had another All Ireland interest last weekend when her son. Pól, Brackey and his partner Patrick McCrory, Carrickmore, competed in the All Ireland Under 16 Boys Handball Final in Roscommon.
There will be a club meeting tonight, Thursday 7th April.

Cappagh Gaels
Last week we played Castlewellan in the final qualifying round of the Ulster League. Having lost out to this team in the final of 2009 we brought a competitive edge to the game, determined to prove a point. We put in a strong team performance and battled well under pressure; a good effort all round! In the end we were unlucky to be beaten on a score-line of 4.04-3.10. Training continues for minor/senior hurlers on Saturdays at 6.00pm in Ballinamullan. It was encouraging to see such a good turnout for the match so we hope that full attendance will continue in training as we prepare for the Tyrone League. Any outstanding membership must be forwarded to Sean Mc Laughlin or Conor O’ Neill without further delay. Also, our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and colleagues of Ronan Kerr at this time.
