Senior Hurlers First Game of the year

The Senior hurlers startred the year of with a game in the Ulster Hurling League  against St. Marys, Rasharkin. With a team missing a number of regulars a young and not so young mix put up a great first half display going in at the break just one point down. The second half started well with Declan Morris netting at the start but things slowed the longer the game went on. Donal McMullan had to retire injured at half time and the Antrim visiters started taking control of the game mid second half and ran out winners 1- 7 to 3 – 17.  A spirtied display this early in the season with the second round fixture for next weekend.
