The Club would like to take this opportunity to wish Cycle Team Lead, Paul Doyle a swift & speedy recovery resulting from a collision on Saturday.
Paul was very lucky, he had all his protective gear on, was in a right of way but unfortunately he was injured by a vehicle. His helmet & other safety gear meant he walked away with only cuts and bruises and although shocked and dazed he will ride another day.
This unfortunate incident should act as a reminder to all cyclists to be extra vigilant on the road, to wear brightly colored and correct clothing; AND ALWAYS WEAR YOUR HELMET!
