This morning the children & parents of the parish put on their walking shoes and braved the elements as they took park in the Annual Underage Sponsored walk.
Organized by the youth committee, the kids left from the village crossroads through the parish for 4 miles in record time. There was plenty of laughter as everyone weaved their way from start to finish.
Thanks to everyone who took part, to all the parents for their support and especially to all those when sponsored the competitors, your contributions will helps the children enjoy a spectacular day in Dublin, as they visit Croke Park and take part in a challenge match with local opposition.
