Cappagh 8-14 : Coalisland 0-4
Saturday past (23rd May) saw the meeting of Cappagh and Coalisland, in a wet, very wet Greencastle. The boys were in fantastic form – and that was really bad news for a Coalisland team that fought a hard fight from the start to the final whistle.
In reality, this was a very one sided game and it is very difficult to pick out any individuals for praise – this was a real team affair. The team that started were fantastically complimented by 5 replacements who demonstrated the strength in depth of this team.
The reward for the team is a meeting with Donaghmore on Saturday 6th June. This winner takes all affair will determine who takes the U14 Championship crown.
Just a word to all our Cappagh Gaels – Donaghmore beat an Omagh team in Augher – they had with them 100 + supporters making a lot of noise – we need to do the same – some come on, get out and support the future.
If you can’t wait until the 6th June, come and support the boys in the semi-final of the League this coming Saturday in Carrickmore – time to be confirmed. Come back to killycloghergaa.com to get final arrangements.
Good luck boys!
