Or The Beginning?
After many months of planning, weeks of worry and preparation the final part of our festival came into view last night with The Big Finish – Seisiún, and what a way to cap a successful Feile and brilliant La na gClub it was.
Things got off to a start with the revival of the ‘Guest Tea’ in Dun Uladh… It is a tribute to our club, our community and our parish that not only was the guest tea well attended but the effort made by all was amazing.
A special mention must be made to Mrs O’Donnell who maintained her 100% attendance of Cappagh guest teas. To everyone who made a sandwhich, buttered a loaf, brewed a pot of tea or bought a raffle ticket, thanks.
A special word of thanks must also be paid to Mullaghmore Home Bakery for the stunning selection of cakes, bakes and treats they supplied.
The marquee was brilliantly attended by club members & visitors alike, the musicians were great (their numbers were small but their talent was immense), thanks to Frank Nudgent, Damien McCaskie, Micky McElduff, Darragh McElduff and to the incredible 12 year old sensation that is Meabh McElduff….
To everyone who attended our Feile, not just on Sunday but on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, young, old, member, visitor, the curious and surprised we thank you…
