Gaelic Games for the children of Cappagh Parish continue to flourish. The club continues to provide opportunities for boys and girls from 6 to 18 years of age, and beyond, to take part in Gaelic Football, Ladies Football, Hurling, Handball and Scór provided through a structured coaching programme by GAA accredited and vetted coaches.
We continue to provide opportunities to 6, 7 and 8 year olds participating in the “Gaelic Start” FUNdamentals coaching programme that takes place every in the Cappagh Parish Centre. This is Cappagh GAA investing in our youth and providing opportunities that promote healthy lifestyles, friendship, personal development and self discipline. A growing band of enthusiastic parents are also coming forward to lend their support. You too are most welcome – YES YOU!
Our young hurlers are building for the future and have already participated in 6 underage blitzes in January & February with Ulster U10 and U14 Leagues all to look forward to in the near future.
So, why don’t you and your children come along and experience a variety of Gaelic activities and find out which suits you best. In Cappagh GAA our priority is about fun and participation. Winning trophies is an added bonus and is a welcome consequence of doing what we do well and enjoying ourselves in the process. By joining in we become part of the bigger GAA family and make “Friends for Life”. Any event allows all members of our community to come along in a fun atmosphere to socialise and make new friends. So, see you there.…
