Club Notes: August 26th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 9, 12, 13, 14, 27 and Michael Meenagh will receive £100. The jackpot stands at £5,000 for next week’s draw which will be made on Monday evening. Don’t forget that club lotto can now be played online on Klubfunder.

Once again, we look at a packed programme of games from last Friday to tomorrow, Friday, with boys and girls and men and ladies playing competitive games as well as enjoying coaching sessions for every team.

Last Thursday, our senior ladies had a comprehensive win over Both Domhnaigh in the Tyrone Ladies Intermediate championship. They now play An Charraig Mhór on Saturday in the semi-final.

Last Friday evening, our reserve and senior teams played Loughmacrory in the league.

At the other end of the age range, our U12s travelled to Trillick last weekend with both clubs fielding two teams each.

On Monday evening, our minor girls had an impressive win over Killeeshil in the championship.

The minor boys were defeated by Omagh in the championship last night, Tuesday, and the U16 boys are away to Loughmacrory tomorrow night, Thursday, also in the championship.

Our senior men round off the programme when they play Trillick on Friday night in Healy Park in the Tyrone Senior Football Championship. The Covid-19 regulations mean that the number of tickets is minimal. Our club officers made a big effort for the distribution of tickets for the last championship game and our members were generally satisfied that a genuine attempt was made to distribute tickets fairly. Friday’s match is being screened live on TG4. This will ease some of the pressure.
