Our U16 girls won their championship with a very clear victory over Stewartstown. This was a good reward for the players and management team for all the work they put in.
The waiting is almost over now for our minor boys and we now know that we will be playing Kilcoo in the Ulster Minor Club Tournament. The date for the eagerly awaited first game is Saturday 7th December. In the meantime, we will be trying to generate funds for equipment and gear with a Last Man Standing and a Big Breakfast. Our minor boys will be helping to serve the food. This programme of activities will be rounded off with a social event marking the achievements of the minors.
The U13 boys play Omagh on Sunday at 11:30am.
Handball for U8 and U10 boys takes place tomorrow night, Thursday, at 7:30pm with coach Barney. Everyone welcome.
Well done to our Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others team who took part in a blitz in Aghyaran last weekend.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Noel Wilson and especially to Liam Cunningham and family.
