Club Notes: November 27th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 3, 10, 13, 22, 24 and Jimmy McGinn won £100. The jackpot stands at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
Wide range of club wear available in the shop tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:00pm. The new half-zips can be collected at this time for those who have pre-ordered.
The club AGM will be held tomorrow night week, Thursday 5th December, at 8:00pm.
The special lotto bingo draw organised by our ladies resulted in the following winning £75 each; Mark Brennan, Cathal McElhinney, Noleen Carland and Roise Patterson. A big thank you to those who organised it and to those who supported it.
The Last Man Standing fundraiser is already underway.
Our minor boys face high-noon on Saturday week, 7th December, in the Ulster Minor Club Tournament at Shaw’s Road, Belfast, where they will play Kilcoo.
We had three club representatives on the Omagh CBS team that lost in the Corn na nÓg final in extra time on Saturday. They were Sean Broderick, Ruairi McKinney and Mark Corcoran.
In the Scór na nÓg finals on Sunday last in Galbally, we were awarded second place in both the ballad group and dancing. The standard of performance in all disciplines was very high and we congratulate our representatives and our mentors on their performances.
The ladies’ section of our club is organising a bucket collection outside Healy Park at Sunday’s Ulster Club Final. The funds are in aid of the Air Ambulance which provides such a vital service.
Paula Clarke has been nominated for the 2019 GAA Handball Volunteer of the Year. Vote for Paula on the GAA Handball website. Show your support also for neighbouring clubs Greencastle and Breacach for Club of the Year and Venue of the Year.
