For our men’s senior footballers, it was a case of third time lucky. Having narrowly lost our opening two league games the players combined well to record a clear-cut victory over Eglish. Following a very disappointing first half, our reserves put on a good second half display and made a good game of it. This Saturday, we have round four and a visit to Errigal Ciaran for a games at 3:30 and 5:00pm.
The senior ladies lost to Aghyaran on Saturday evening and are away to Sperrin Óg this Saturday.
Our minor boys are due to play Strabane and Gael N. Padraig tonight, Wednesday.
The minor girls played Glenelly last night, Tuesday, and play Stewartstown next Tuesday.
The U14 boys played Drumquin on Monday night and play An Charraig Mhór tomorrow night, Thursday, and Dromore next Wednesday.
The U14 girls defeated Dromore last Thursday and were narrowly eliminated from the Féile which we hosted at the weekend.
The next major event on the social and fundraising calendar is the Killyclogher 10K and 5K Fun Run/Walk on Saturday 8th June.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Antoinette McCusker.
