Club Notes: February 13th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 1, 15, 24, 27, 30 and Tommy Nugent won £100. The jackpot stands at £5,000 for next week’s draw which will take place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
A wide range of clubwear available in the club shop tomorrow night, Thursday, between 7:00 and 8:00pm.
On Sunday last our men’s U21 team overcame the wind and the rain to score a spectacular last-minute goal and defeat Errigal Ciaran by one point. Victory was well-earned through a fighting team performance especially in the second half.
The minor boys are preparing for the league which is due to begin on 10th March.
The recent bad weather is having an adverse effect on preparation for the 2019 competitions, ladies and men.
We have a double interest in the MacRory Cup semi-final this weekend with a number of our players on the Omagh CBS team and Sean O’Kane managing the St Patrick’s Armagh team.
Our Scór dancers will be competing in the County Final next weekend.
Well done to Karla Corcoran who reached the U11 County Handball League Final last weekend.
There will be a club registration morning this Sunday in the Cappagh Parish Centre from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
Preparations are underway for the Killyclogher 10K.
Another link with the Tyrone history making team of 1956 was broken with the death of Frank Higgins. Sincere sympathy to the entire family circle. His death is a big loss to the whole GAA family.
