Club Notes: January 30th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 1, 4, 18, 23, 24 and five winners each won £20.  The jackpot stands at £5,000 for next week’s draw which will take place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
A wide range of clubwear available in the club shop tomorrow night, Thursday, between 7:00 and 8:00pm.
Our U21 men played the first competitive game of 2019 when they travelled to Carrickmore for a sectional league game. It was a competitive, well-fought game with An Charraig Mhór getting a few vital scores in the second half to emerge victorious on a score-line of 2-08 to 1-06. Their next game is due to be played on Sunday week at home to Errigal Ciaran. As usual at this time of the year weather conditions and the condition of the playing fields could determine otherwise.
The senior men are due to begin the Ulster League this weekend with a game against Dungiven. Details to be confirmed.
Good luck to Tyrone and our club representatives in the National League game in Healy Park on Sunday.
Scór Sinsear begins this weekend and we wish our representatives all the best.
We wish to extend sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Gemma Crennan. Gemma was a strong supporter of the GAA and when our U12s visited Dublin to play St. Jude’s in a challenge match she was warm in her welcome. The link with our Parish is now strengthened with her nephew and nieces Matthew, Isabella and Mary Anne currently members of our youth teams. Their mother Anne Coyle is Gemma’s sister.
