Our U13s started off badly against Loughmacrory last Saturday but put on a great second half performance and finished up trailing by a single point. They play An Charraig Mhór this Saturday morning at 10:30am in Ballinamullan.
Last Saturday we hosted the Junior and Senior Ulster Ladies Football Finals. We had our own team of workers in action and thanks to their efforts the visiting teams and officials, the officials in charge of the games and spectators were well looked after.
It is a case of more of the same this weekend as we host Kildress v Beragh in a division 2/3 playoff at 1:00pm and Omagh St Enda’s v Errigal Ciaran in the division 1 league final at 2:45pm. Stewards should be in place by 12:15pm.
We are hosting a Scór na nÓg semi-final in Dún Uladh on Sunday evening from 6:00pm and we are represented in Rince Foirne, Aithriseoireacht, Bailéad Ghrúpa, Rince Seit agus Tráth na gCeist. We will also be looking for workers to ensure the smooth running of the competition. Car-parking facilities for the Scór na nÓg will be available from 5:00pm.
The Club AGM will be held on Thursday 6th December. Nominations and motions should be submitted to the club secretary by Thursday 15th November. Forms will be available from the website and hard copies will be available in the new building in Ballinamullan.
Gaelic Start is scheduled to begin this weekend.
