Club Notes: August 22nd
Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 9, 14, 16, 19, 21 and one winner received £100. Two lucky winners shared the £1,000 Bingo Jackpot so we had at least 3 happy patrons. Lottsodoo jackpot remains at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night with the Bingo Jackpot at £1,000.
Our Juvenile Boys travelled to Trillick last Thursday but never really got to grips with the game and were struggling from the start to stay in touch. They defeated Owen Roes in the league last night, Tuesday, on a score-line of 2-15 to 2-11.
We have not received our allocation of tickets for the All Ireland Final on Sunday week, 2nd September but all indications point to ticket requests being much greater than ticket supply.
Congratulations to our own Caitlin Kelly and the Tyrone Ladies on their All Ireland Semi Final victory and good luck in the Final.
Our Golf Classic was a great success thanks to the organisers, generous sponsors and enthusiastic participants. A big thank you to officers and members of Omagh Golf Club for their warm welcome and co-operation. The caterers were on hand all day to serve up excellent meals.
Social night in the Village Inn on Sunday 26th August at 8.30pm with guest speakers, pundits and a range of county and former county players giving their views on the All Ireland Finals. A night not to be missed.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Mary Daly a number of whom played football for us and represented us in Scór over a couple of generations.
