Club Notes: February 7th

The weather conditions won again and the Bingo had to be cancelled last Monday. On Monday coming, hopefully, our Bingo will be back on and the draws for the Lottsodoo for Monday 5th and Monday 12th will take place. The main jackpot remains at £5,000.
The club shop is open as usual tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:00pm.
Our U21 footballers looked very promising at times in their game with An Charraig Mhór but An Charraig Mhór made more of their chances and were winners in the end. This Saturday we play Errigal Ciaran at 2:30pm in Ballinamullan.
Underage hurling continues on Friday evenings in the Parish Centre and a 7-a-side U14 hurling blitz is planned for Garvaghey next Wednesday, 14th February.
On Saturday past our own Brian McAleer and his Breacach partner Jack Darcy won the Ulster U16 Doubles title in Saval, Co Down. Well done.
U14 and minor girls training continues on Monday evenings in Youth Sport.
Good luck to our céilí dancers and solo singer, Hannah McGirr, in Scór on Sunday in Eskra at 6:30pm.
Meeting tomorrow night week, 15th February, at 8:30pm.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Ciaran Maguire who died so suddenly at the weekend. He belonged to a family that was very loyal to Beragh but with many ties to our own club through football, hurling, handball and the social/hospitality life of the club.
