Club Notes: October 11th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo for were 17, 18, 21, 23, 25 and seven winners each won £15. The main jackpot remains at £5,000 for the next draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
Wide range of club-wear available in the club shop tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:00pm.
Well done to our U16 boys who followed up their defeat of Moortown in the championship with a victory over the same opposition last Saturday in the league semi-final. This Saturday they play Omagh in the championship semi-final at 2:00pm. Venue to be confirmed. They await the winners of Dungannon v An Charraig Mhór in the league final.
The U16 girls lost to Ardboe in the juvenile championship on Sunday past.
Also last Sunday, the U12 girls travelled to Lurgan for a friendly game and a fun afternoon of snow tubing. Well done and thank you to John Coney for organising the day and to the parents who provided the transport and to thank you to Martin Swift for his generosity.
The U8 and U10 girls had blitzes last Friday evening and the U10 boys have one this Saturday morning.
The U13 hurlers played games against Dungannon and Castledawson last Sunday in the Derry league. This Sunday they have games against Coleraine and Ballinascreen. Thank you to Ciaran McBride for the organisation and the parents who helped with transport.
This Sunday morning in Castlebridge, Wexford, our handballer Brian McAleer and his partner Jack Darcy take on the boys of Wexford in the All Ireland Doubles 60X30 Final. Good luck to Brian and Jack.
Scór na nÓg gets underway this weekend and we will be hosting a semi-final the following weekend, rounding off a busy time for all codes and activities – hurling, handball, boys football, girls football, Scór.
We remind everyone that St Mary’s Primark School have a 5K/.10K Run this Saturday and encourage all to support it through participating or stewarding.
