Club Notes: September 6th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo for were 2, 12, 18, 22, 27 and ten winners each won £10. The main jackpot remains at £5,000 for the next draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
Wide range of club-wear available in the club shop tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:00pm. Good range of half zips (3/4 years – XXXL) and hoodies (5/6 years – XL) available. For the young in years and young in spirit wear your club colours with pride.
The countdown is now on for the senior hurling and football championships. Our senior footballers will in action on Saturday evening at 5:30pm in Dunmoyle with Pomeroy providing the opposition. We would appreciate a big turnout of supporters to help our players get over the first hurdle.
Then on Sunday it is the turn of our senior hurlers to take centre stage when they line out against Naomh Colum Cille at 12:45pm in Healy Park. Again, we are looking for supporters to cheer the team on.
The boys juvenile footballers are awaiting the last game of the league with Moortown. They also play Moortown in the juvenile championship.
Our juvenile girls lost to Glenelly last week and they play Ardboe in Ballinamullan on Friday evening.
There will be a club meeting tomorrow night, Thursday, at 8:30pm.
The club will receive a very small allocation of tickets for the All Ireland Football Final. Those wanting to be considered should apply in writing donalmagee@btinternet.com by Sunday evening.
