Club Notes: September 27th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo for were 6, 7, 13, 16, 23 and Colm Murray won £100. The main jackpot remains at £5,000 for the next draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
Wide range of club-wear available in the club shop tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:00pm. Items for Christmas presents can be ordered now.
Our U16 boys travelled to Moortown last night, Tuesday, for a game in the juvenile championship recording a good 3-11 to 0-15 win. They will now play Omagh in the championship semi final.
Our U13 hurlers are looking forward to competitive action on the Sundays in October starting this Sunday in Owenbeg. They will play Fintona on Friday night at 6:30pm in Ballinamullan. Well done to the U8 and U10 hurlers who performed so well the Omagh St Enda’s Tournament last Saturday and thank you to the coaches and parents.
The Tyrone Ladies deserve great credit for their championship campaign which ended in a closely contested All Ireland Final last Sunday. Well done to the management and players and our own Caitlin Kelly, a youthful member of the panel, and to Antoinette McCusker as a county administrator.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Mrs Bridget O’Donnell. Bridget, a sprightly 95 year old, was a lovely, lively lady, who supported our fundraising activities since the club was revived. She was a very enthusiastic participant in our 25-card drives and a regular attender at the weekly bingo. The social craic and banter were more important that the winning for Bridget. Go ndéanaí Dia trocaire ar a hanam.
