Well done to Tír Eoghain and to our club’s three players on winning the Ulster Senior Football Championship Final. At one point it was a case of one, two, three in the second half when Mark, Conall and Tiérnan scored a point each in succession.
At county level, well done also to Caitlin Kelly who was the star player for the Tyrone Minors in their narrow All Ireland semi-final defeat to Cork.
At club level, activities centred on the U21 competition and we travelled to Dunmoyle and defeated Errigal Ciaran on Monday past. In a high-scoring and high-quality game the result was 2-16 to 2-12 in our favour. This Tuesday coming we make the short trip to Healy Park to play St Enda’s.
We are also in action this Sunday in Healy Park when our reserves and seniors play Omagh in the league at 2:15 and 3:45pm.
The juvenile boys footballers go in to action on Monday 31st July with a home game to Ardboe.
We would like to extend sincere sympathy to the family, extended family and the Tattyreagh club on the death of Pat Darcy. Pat was a fíor gael and gave great leadership to An CLG as Cathaoirleach of Coiste Thír Eoghain.
