There will be no club shop tomorrow night, Thursday 13th July but it will be business as usual next Thursday 20th July.
On Friday evening last our minor boys fell to Errigal Ciaran in the football championship semi-final. Errigal Ciaran looked threatening in the first half but our players put in some great tackles and put them under pressure when trying to shoot so there was just one point in it at half-time. We started the second half with some powerful running and good teamwork and we pushed ahead on the scoreboard but a goal turned the game in their favour and in the last quarter they took all their scoring chances to build up a comfortable margin. We hopefully will keep this panel of players in action with the younger players playing juvenile and the older boys playing U21, reserve and senior. They have shown that not only have they talent but they are prepared to work hard and should be a big help to the club in the years ahead.
We are due to renew rivalry with Errigal Ciaran this Monday 17th July when we travel to Dunmoyle for an U21 game at 7:30pm.
Those who have ordered Ulster Final tickets should collect them tomorrow night, Thursday, in the clubrooms between 7:00 and 8:30pm.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Annie McGinnity, Roslea, and especially to her son Peter.
