Club Notes: May 31st

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo for were 2, 3, 15, 26, 29 and Mary Meenan won £100. The main jackpot remains at £5,000 for the next draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
Wide range of club-wear available in the club shop tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:00pm.
On Sunday last Tiernan McCann, Conall McCann and Mark Bradley contributed both on the field and on the scoreboard to Tyrone’s defeat of Derry. Conall had the honour of being selected Man of the Match on the television networks and also by the print journalists.
The County Minors fell to Derry without ever reaching the heights of their earlier league performances. PT Cunningham kept them in the hunt on the scoreboard with a long-range free and a goal from a penalty.
Last weekend Rian McCaul, still a Minor, won the Tyrone Senior Poc Fada competition. Well done Rian.
The Senior Hurling League gets underway next Tuesday and our first game will be on Tuesday 13th at home to Éire Óg.
Our Senior Ladies drew with Loughmacrory last night, Tuesday, and are away to Coalisland on Saturday evening.
The U14 Girls play Dromore in the Championship Semi Final tomorrow night, Thursday, in Dromore after their exciting and well-deserved victory over Fintona last week.
The U14 Boys Footballers play Both Domhnaigh tonight, Wednesday, and play Greencastle on Friday night.
It’s back to club action for the men on Sunday with Coalisland as visitors. The Reserve game is timed for 2:15pm and the Senior game at 3:45pm.
