We had Clonoe as visitors last Sunday in the Senior and Reserve league games. Our Reserves put on a fighting display and we also had a very good turnout of players. For our Seniors, the high point of the day was 10-minuute spell of pressure after halftime which produced three points. Clonoe however, went on to win the points on a score of 1-16 to 1-10. There was some bouts of strong football which kept the big crowd entertained.
Our Minor Boys played well but lost out to Dromore. Our U14 Boys defeated Greencastle last weekend.
The Minor Girls were at home to Errigal Ciaran last night, Tuesday, and are at home to Aodh Ruadh on Friday night. The U14 Girls had a good win over Sperrin Óg last week and are due to play St Macartan’s on Saturday.
Well done to PT Cunningham and Matthew Murnaghan who contributed to Tyrone winning U18 and U17 Ulster titles last Saturday.
On Sunday at Senior level we have Urney as visitors to Ballinamullan for Reserve and Senior games. Our Senior Ladies play Galbally in Ballinamullan on Sunday evening. The starting times for the three games are 2:15, 3:45 and 6:30pm. A big turnout of support would be appreciated.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Teresa McCance. The O’Connor family has a long tradition of support for our Parish and our Club.
