On Sunday last our playing year came to an end with defeat at the hands of Dromore in the Division 1 League Final. The first half was keenly contested but they pulled away in the second. A big thank you to the players and management team who worked so hard all year. In the process of winning the Championship and reaching the League Final they produced some quality football and gave us all plenty of enjoyment and plenty to be proud about.
On Sunday last, our Scór na nÓg Céilí Dancers finished second in the Tyrone Final and our Ballad Group won the County Title and will take part in Sunday’s Ulster Semi Final in Swatragh.
There will be a club meeting tomorrow night, Thursday, at 8:30pm and the AGM will take place on Sunday at 2:00pm.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Hughie Sweeney. Hughie had a great love for music and was involved in forming a branch of CCÉ in our Parish. The Sweeney’s have always been strong supporters of our club both on and off the field.
