Kildress 2-07 Killyclogher 0-16

Our seniors continued their winning form on Saturday evening with a three point victory away to Kildress in a game that was up for grabs right to the end.
Kildress were aided with a strong wind in the first half and two goals left them leading at half time by 2-04 to 0-09.
Helped by the breeze in the second half, Killyclogher kept plugging away and ran out eventual winners 2-07 to 0-16.
Scorers on the evening were: C McCann 0-06 (3f), M Bradley 0-04 (2f), T McCann 0-03, T Flanagan 0-01, F Meenagh 0-01, S O’Neill 0-01.
The reserve match was postponed as a mark of respect on the death of Dermot McKeogh’s mother.
Match report courtsey of Teamtalkmag: “Killyclogher had to work a lot harder at Gortacladdy before triumphing on a 0-16 to 2-7 scoreline. The Wolfe Tones  got off to a great start with two goals from Niall Quinn but points from Mark Bradley and Conall McCann helped Killyclogher to reduce the deficit to the minimum at the break.  Martin Grimes had a couple of second half points for the hosts but efforts from Bradley and Tiernan McCann enabled the St.Marys to come from behind to win.”
