Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 4, 10, 11, 12, 30 and 22 winners each received £5. The main jackpot remains at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
Attractive range of club wear available in the shop tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:00pm.
On Saturday last our reserve game with Kildress was called off as a mark of respect to Dermot McKeogh on the death of his mother. Dermy is a popular and valued member of our senior panel. In the senior league game we struggled to get the better of a determined and capable Kildress to eventually emerge victorious on a score of 0-16 to 2-07 thanks to a strong final ten minutes.
A big thank you to all who braved the weather last Sunday to very efficiently steward the club championship games. This Sunday 28th August, we host the Loughmacrory v Eskra game at 5:00pm and the Strabane v Dromore game at 6:30pm. Once again, we invite anyone who would like to help with the staging of these games to come along any time from 4:00pm onwards.
Our U16 boys put up a good performance against Dromore and deserved a better result. They will be in action again tomorrow evening, Thursday, 25th, away to Errigal Ciaran.
The U16 girls are away to Omagh on Saturday at 2:00pm in the league.
The usual underage coaching for boys and girls continues.
The minor hurlers are due to play Omagh this night week, Wednesday 31st August, while Sunday is County Hurling Final Day in Healy Park including the junior and senior finals and mini games.
We thank very sincerely those who supported our golf classic last Friday, those who sponsored the event, those who sponsored tees and those who entered teams in the competition. Well done to the various winners and a big thank you also to the Captain and Officers of Omagh Golf Club for their co-operation and welcome.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Mrs Claire Linnane.
