Club Notes: July 27th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 10, 13, 16, 17, 28 and Pat McCrory won £100. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for the next draw which will take place as usual on Monday night at the Bingo.
Full range of club wear and hurling helmets available in the shop tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 and 8:00pm.
Club members requiring tickets for the All Ireland Football Quarter Final on Saturday 6 August are asked to put their request in writing by tomorrow night, Thursday 28th so that the club can place an order in time for the County Board deadline.
Our Senior Footballers were back in action on Sunday and picked up two more league points at the expense of Augher. This Sunday both Reserves and Seniors will play Ardboe in Ballinamullan at 2:15 and 3:45pm.
Our U16 Boys Footballers are scheduled to play Omagh at 1:00pm on Saturday. This is to be confirmed.
Coaching for U16 Girls is ongoing and the Senior Ladies are scheduled to play Errigal Ciaran this Saturday. The U12 Girls face Dromore tomorrow night, Thursday.
Our Minor Hurlers are due to begin their League tomorrow night week, Thursday 4 August, at home to Shamrocks.
Our next major fundraising event is the golf classic. This popular and well-established event combines a social dimension with fundraising. We will hold this year’s event on Friday 19th August thanks to the willing co-operation of Omagh Golf Club. You can support the golf classic by entering a team of four or by sponsoring a tee. Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Tom Ward many of whom are active members of the GAA supporting their various clubs, including our own, both on and off the field. Sincere sympathy also to Helen Green and family on their recent bereavement.
