Club Notes: June 29th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 10, 14, 24, 25, 30 and Laurence Early won each won £100. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
Hurls, helmets and a whole range of clubwear available in the club shop tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:00pm.
On Sunday last we had Dromore as visitors for a double league game. Our reserves just fell short of victory while the seniors produced a good performance for a hard-earned draw.
Good luck to Tiernan, Mark, Conall, Sean and Tyrone against Cavan on Sunday.
We also wish Terri McCusker, Noleen Carland and Tyrone Ladies all the best in the Ulster Final which will be played before the men’s replay on Sunday in Clones.
We wish Erin McMahon and manager Brian McGinn all the best in the U16 All Ireland semi-final.
Our minor girls were beaten in the league final last Saturday in spite of a spirited second half performance.
We had a girls U8 and U10 blitz in Ballinamullan on Saturday and a boys blitz in Omagh.
The U12 girls play Trillick tomorrow night, Thursday.
Our U16 hurlers played Omagh in the championship last night, Tuesday, but were unfortunately defeated by one point.
We had a fun Sports Evening last night, Tuesday, to mark the end of the school year. A big thank you to all the boys and girls and to their family members who actively support our club. A special word of thanks to all the teachers who so positively promote our games. We wish them all an enjoyable holiday and look forward to working with them in September. It is right that we highlight in particular the work done by Mrs Margaret Moohan who has retired this year as Principal of St Mary’s Killyclogher. We also pay tribute to the present and former teachers of Gortnagarn. Sadly, Gortnagarn is closing its doors for the last time this week.
The Tyrone Summer Camp is underway in Ballinamullan on Monday morning. Late registrations will still be taken on Monday morning.
A big thank you to those who organised our Night at the Races and those who so generously supported this event.
